Actress & Poker Player Minissha Lamba Finds Love In Poker Pro Akash Malik

Actress and poker player, Minissha Lamba, recently revealed that she is dating poker pro Akash Malik. Rumors were circling for quite some time now that the Bollywood diva has found love in Malik. A report by TOI states how the two love birds met during a poker games but did not keep in touch after getting acquainted. The news report further adds how after a few interactions both Lamba and Malik became friends and finally fell in love. 

While speaking to ETimes, the Bachna Ae Haseeno actress admitted dating Malik. “Yes, I have found love and I am happy. I feel blessed every day to have found togetherness,” she said. Lamba also said, “I have been vocal about dating someone. I want to maintain the privacy of my partner. I expect him and the family, who are a long way from the entertainment industry,” she added.

The couple shares a common interest in poker. Interestingly, the two were introduced to each other during a poker championship event in 2019. The couple had reportedly met at several poker events before they became friends.

Malik is a poker pro based in Delhi. Apart from poker, Malik is also into business. He has seven tournament titles to his credit including Spartan Poker’s IPC High Roller Satellite event and The Elite among others. This poker dynamo has lifetime total earnings of ₹1.03 crore. Malik is quite active on online poker felts. Most recently, he finished at the 20th spot in Adda52’s The Ballers for ₹20,250.

While Lamba has stayed away from the silver screen, she is spending a good amount of time playing poker. The Yahaan actress has Adda52’s SNG 2 Player title to her credit. Her lifetime total earnings stand at ₹5.07 Lakh. Lamba who was applauded for her stellar performance in the film Shaurya is often spotted at live poker tournaments. As per news reports, the couple is currently holidaying in Goa. Lamba is active on her social media handles and keeps her fans updated much to their delight.
