Aces Cost Vatsalya 100K

The 100K High Roller has officially begun and the tournament has already seen its first bust out of the day. Kunal Patni with 7 ♦ J ♦ in hand, bet 2,000 preflop and Vatsalya Singh Rao raised 9,000 with Pocket Rockets. Patni called and the flop opened to 3 ♣ 7 ♣ J ♠ and blessed him with two pairs. Singh bet 9,000 believing his aces would pull him through but Patni had other plans and raised 32,000. Unable to fold a premium hand, Singh re-raised 100,000 to put pressure on Patni. However, the Adda52 Game Ambassaor did not falter and went all-in, which Singh called. The turn K ♣ and river 9 ♦ did not improve Singh’s hand and while he had pocket aces, was the first to leave the tournament after just minutes of it starting. Busting out so early in a High Roller must have truly been a painful expereince for Singh and we wonder if he will fire another 100K bullet to try again. Patni on the other hand, was all smiles as he had a massive double up.
