Abhishek Goindi Now Has A Verified Account On Instagram

Poker pro Abhishek Goindi has finally received the dream blue tick verification on his Instagram account. With this, the Poker Bootcamp India founder and coach becomes the second Indian poker personality to get the blue tick.

He shared the news on his Instagram stories with a screenshot of the achievement accompanied by the words, “Poker is a sport!”

According to Instagram guidelines, in order to apply for verification, an individual must be authentic, unique, their profile must be complete and the person must be notable, appearing in searches. Abhishekh Goidi currently has over 5,000 followers on the photo-sharing site.

Who is Abhishek Goindi?

Abhishek Goindi is one of India’s most regarded and veteran poker pros. He is the founder of the poker training school Poker Bootcamp India (PBCI). He was named as the ‘Indian Poker Player Of The Year’ in 2011. The PBCI coach was last year signed as the PokerBaazi Team Pro along with female poker pro Muskan Sethi. He is regularly seen travelling and participating in various poker series across the globe. Recently, he was seen grinding at the World Poker Tour (WPT) Prime Cambodia in Phnom Penh. 

Prior to Goindi, Sethi has received the blue tick from Instagram. Goindi’s verification badge is just the start of the long way poker, and poker players in India have ahead of them. It will help people realise and identify poker as a real sport and see poker as a legitimate profession.
