Josh Arieh’s Joke On Christoph Vogelsang Backfires Miserably

Poker pro Joshua Arieh, fondly known as ‘Josh Arieh,’ is one of the few poker players who is very active on his social media accounts, especially Twitter. He regularly shares updates about his game, his whereabouts, and also his view (both critical and positive) about things vocally. 

Recently he shared a similar post which includes a video. He spotted Christoph Vogelsang jogging in his own property and decided to take out his mobile phone and film it. He shared the video on his Twitter handle and wrote, “Spotted Christoph Vogelsang doing some sprints for his poker prep workout.”

In the video, Vogelsang is seen running at a very slow pace. It looks like, through the video, Arieh tried to mock Vogelsang for his slow running. Apparently, Vogelsang is often known for tanking for longer durations at poker tables. Arieh took a video of his slow running to draw a similarity between him on and off the table. The post did not go well with some users as they criticised the four-time World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelet winner. 

A couple of users even called him a bully.

Imagine filming someone working out, then trying to bully him for not doing it to your standards. Can’t imagine you do much of a good workout yourself. Get a grip, fucking loser.

Among those who criticised Arieh was British television presenter and poker player Liv Boeree, who questioned Arieh if he had taken permission to upload the video.

Several other users also called out Arieh for unethically filming Vogelsang and then even uploading it on social media without his consent.

As against the criticisms, a lot of users even came forward to defend Arieh that he did not do anything wrong by filming Vogelsang or making that joke.

LMAO @ woke twitter. The guy is jogging, Josh is simply making a joke and not making fun of the unknown in the video in anyway. Woke twitter will always find ways to twist the most innocent things.

Anyone complaining about this tweet didn't spend any time in 2000s online poker chat, where you were told to die in a grease fire, had cancer wished upon your mother, or that you'll get your ass kicked next time you show up live.
