The Deltin Poker Tournament (DPT) fever is taking over as the series is just around the corner. One of the most awaited live poker series in India is back with a bang. Yes folks, DPT will return on 8th November and will run till 14th November. And like any pro from the Indian poker circuit, our beloved KP is also ready to go full steam.

We obviously got in touch with Patni to know what his DPT plans look like. Firstly we asked the WPT Prime Cambodia Aug 2022 Deepstack winner about that one thing he is looking forward to the most. Patni in his true style said that he has been travelling in the Asian region for live poker events, but now he is looking to play in an Indian live poker tournament series and meet up with players and folks from the circuit. He also emphasized that DPT is the mother of all live events in India, so he definitely is excited about the upcoming series.

Next we asked Patni what he would do differently in the upcoming edition of DPT as compared to the last edition (April 2022). He said there’s nothing in particular he would do differently, but since he has been working on his game in the last few months, he understands the game better. The popular pro from the circuit makes sure to add that getting hands on a trophy in an Indian series is high up on the priority list since he has added a few trophies to his credit from the Asian events.

Was that all we grilled this poker pro? No, of course not. We also asked him about that one feature of DPT you feel sets it apart from the other live events. Patni said that DPT is one of the oldest surviving live series in India, and is powered by Adda52. The pro who stood 4th in the Colossus Super High Roller Series in May 2019 goes on to add that he takes pride in being associated with Adda52 and has shared his inputs for a DPT event with respect to the kind of tourneys, buy-ins, and structure. Patni calls DPT one of the massively successful series because it is on par with the ones hosted across the world.

This banker-turned-poker pro also shares one big reason why nobody should miss out on this wonderful poker tournament series. Patni said that DPT is amongst the oldest series being hosted in India and one of the most awaited tournaments. He adds that there is something for everyone in this series and players can also grind in satellites (online or live) to be a part of the marquee events of DPT.
