Voot orders Poker Mantra, the first-ever docu-reality series on Poker in India!

To reach and captivate new audiences, Voot has partnered with Poker Sports League, the world’s biggest poker league in terms of winnings and participation, to launch and host the first-ever Docu-Reality Series on Poker in India –Poker Mantra presented by Pocket52–exclusively on its AVOD platform.

Pocket52 is one of the most prominent mobile and desktop online poker platforms in India. It is India’s foremost cryptographically secure online poker network, replete with a best-in-class poker client, customisable poker rooms, and various online poker game types such as Texas Holdem Poker Online, Omaha, and others.

The five-part docu-reality series, Poker Mantra, which Sreetama Ray directs, will take the viewers through the tale of Poker in India, along with interviews of renowned Poker and mental coaches, league teams and sponsors who believe in the Poker’s future, says Sidharth Mishra, the Minds Sports League co-founder and CMO. The series seeks to shed light on Poker’s past, present, and future in India to break down barriers and prevalent misconceptions about the game.

“With an aim to break barriers and common misconceptions surrounding poker, the series aims at throwing light on the past, present & future of poker in India. The reality series will educate viewers on the important life lessons of money management learnt through poker.”

Poker Mantra will interview players such as Kanchan Sharma, Rajat Sharma, Aniket Pradhan, Harshit Jaiswal, Nitin Dhamija, Mahima Das Walia, and Radhika Shankar for the series, and where they will reveal how to ace their game by studying and practicing rigorously.
