2021 WSOP Online Bracelet Events: Dmitry Yurasov Wins Event #24

The World Series of Poker (WSOP) 2021 Online Bracelet Events has entered the last week of the series. Event #24: $1,050 Bounty Pot-Limit Omaha witnessed some intense action wherein a total of 896 entries tried battling their way through the top spots on Day 1. However, only the top 10 players made it to Day 2.

Russia’s Dmitry Yurasov who started off with a middle stack count made a solid comeback after spending most of Day 2 with a low stack. Yurasov finally beat Canada’s Ami Barer in the heads-up to end his dramatic day. The Russian took home a hefty $92,711 in prize money along with the coveted WSOP gold bracelet.

The first casualty on the final table was Anson Tsang from Hong Kong. Tsang held {j-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{7-Spades}, while David Mzareulov aka ‘Mclovin86’ held {k-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{9-Spades}{7-Diamonds}. The board of {a-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{k-Clubs} sent Tsang at the seventh position for $16,213.

Next in line was Fausto Tantillo aka ‘Fantastik55.’ Ami Barer’s {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{6-Clubs} defeated Tantillo’s {a-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{3-Spades} on the board of {8-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}{k-Hearts}. Tantillo walked away at the sixth spot for $19,063.

Ami Barer continued his busting spree with a double knock-out. Barer single-handedly busted David Mzareulov aka ‘Mclovin86’ ({a-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}) and Daniel Perkusic ({j-Hearts}{10-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}) with his {q-Spades}{10-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{7-Clubs} on the {k-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{4-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} board. Mzareulov and Perkusic departed at the fifth and fourth spot for $34,084 and $36,731 respectively.

Yurasov busted Samuel Saariaho aka ‘FishIdiot’ at the third spot to get in a heads-up with Barer. Yurasov’s {j-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{6-Spades} overpowered Saariaho’s  {q-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} on the board of {10-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{8-Spades}{6-Hearts}{k-Clubs}. Saariaho took the third spot for $33,630.

Barer held {j-Spades}{7-Spades}{5-Clubs}{2-Clubs} against Yurasov’s {a-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} in the heads-up. The board of {10-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{4-Spades}{4-Clubs} crushed Barer’s WSOP dream to send him off at the runner-up spot with a handsome $69,347.
