2021 WSOP Online Bracelet Events: Alexandru Papazian Wins Event #26, Grabs Second WSOP Bracelet

The 2021 World Series of Poker (WSOP) online bracelet events have been going on in full swing. Event #26: $888 CRAZY EIGHTS No Limit Hold’em 8-Handed witnessed 2,350 entries battle it out on Day 1. 31 entries made it to Day 2, where Romanian player Alexandru Papazian topped the table and took home his second WSOP gold bracelet along with $2,41,128 in prize money.

The $888 event generated a $19,82,460 prize pool. Eugenio Pernia aka ‘Ausestep_255’ from Venezuela, entered Day 2 as the chip leader, was the first casualty on the final table as he finished at the ninth place on Day 2. Pernia walked away for $24,112.

Next in line was Brazil’s Igor Thiesen aka ‘AMilhao,’ who departed at the eighth place for $32,155. Cristian Nagaki aka ‘Peitodeperu’s overpowered Thiesen’s on the board of   .

Nikola Minkov was sent off by Patrick Mahoney aka ‘CocoTheDog’ at the seventh spot. Minkov’s couldn’t survive Mahoney’s , as the board of gave Mahoney a two-pair. Minkov departed for $42,879.

Aleksey Churbanov aka ‘somebody444’ busted at the sixth place for $57,180. Churbanov’s pocket sevens lost again Tal Noach’s ace-queen on the board of  . 

Mahoney’s ace-king succumbed to Noach’s pocket aces, as the board opened to . Mahoney walked away at the fifth spot for $76,250. 

Nagaki’s couldn’t survive against Noach’s . The board of   gave Noach a pair and sent off Nagaki for $1,01,682.

Santiago Varela aka ‘La Papualda’ from Uruguay busted at the third spot for $1,35,595. Leaving the final two for a heads-up. In the final hand, Papazian’s defeated  Noach’s  on the board of  . Noach walked away at the runner-up spot for $1,80,818.
