2021 WSOP Online Bracelet Events: 33 Gold Bracelets & $90+ Million Awarded In Prize Money


The 2021 World Series of Poker (WSOP) Online Bracelet Events concluded recently with a bang. The six-week-long series which kick-started on 1st August 2021 came to a glorious end on 12th September 2021. This online poker tournament series offered 33 gold bracelets and a prize pool of over $50 million. According to news reports, $90+ million was given away in prize money. The series recorded a total of 1,27,969 entries across the 33 bracelet events.

The Main Event of the coveted series concluded with Aleksei Vandyshev nailing the tournament for $25,43,073. Natural8 player Edson Tsutsumi Jr. was leading the final table of Event #27 $5,000 WSOP Main Event. However, he finished at the runner-up spot for $1,907,035. 

The series featured six highlight events. The first highlight event was Event #1: $50 The Return NLH with a $1 million guarantee. This event was shipped by Polish player Bartlomiej Swieboda for an impressive $1,20,810. Swieboda grabbed the first gold bracelet of the series.

Event #7: $1,500 Millionaire Maker NLH  with a $5 million guarantee, was shipped by Brazilian player Eduardo Pires, who cashed $13,84,013 in prize money. Another marquee event was Event #21: $25,000 Super High Roller Championship NLH, which featured a $5 million guarantee. Greek player Alexandros Theologis lifted the title after beating 255 entries and grabbed his first WSOP bracelet for $12,12,033.

Event #15: $10,000 Heads Up NLH Championship was another highlight event on the 2021 WSOP Online Bracelet Events schedule. Arthur Conan nailed this event and added $4,66,167 to his bankroll.

Event #2: $1,111 Caesars Cares Charity Event was one of the biggest charity events hosted by WSOP. The event raised over $175,824 for Caesars Cares, a COVID-19 charity based in Nevada. Joao Simao shipped this event for $206,075 and won his first WSOP gold bracelet. 

Overall, the series was a thundering success, which gave an adrenaline rush not just to the players but even the spectators. The 2021 WSOP live events are all set to kick-start at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas from 30th September 2021 till 23rd November 2021.
