2021 WSOP: Michael Addamo Leads The Final Five On FT Of Event #87


The 2021 World Series of Poker (WSOP) is nearing its end. 86 of the 88 events have concluded, the final two events are currently underway. Day 2 of Event #87: $100,000 High Roller No-Limit Hold’em wrapped up yesterday with the five players remaining. These players will now proceed to Day 3. 

This $100,000 event witnessed 64 entries battling it out for a prize pool of $6,192,000. The top 10 places at this event finished in the money. Out of the 64, five players have survived and will now battle it out on the final table. Leading the pack is Australia’s Michael Addamo who has 1,96,20,000 chips at his disposal. Addamo is nearly 14 million more than the second-highest stack. 

Following Addamo is Danish player Henrik Hecklen with 5,445,000. Sam Soverel holds the third-highest stack of 5,165,000 chips. Kevin Rabichow has 4,250,000 chips at his disposal. Sitting with the least stack is American player Sean Perry, who has just 3,920,000 chips.

2021 WSOP Event #87 Final Table Chip Counts: 

  1. Michael Addamo – 19,620,000 chips
  2. Henrik Hecklen – 5,445,000 chips
  3. Sam Soverel – 5,165,000
  4. Kevin Rabichow – 4,250,000
  5. Sean Perry – 3,920,000

Event #85: $50,000 High Roller winner Mikita Badziakouski, was also seen at this event. He busted at the eighth place for $2,17,274. Other players who made it in the money included Sorel Mizzi (6th, $3,31,806), Sam Grafton (7th, $2,63,227), William Klein (9th, $1,86,909) and Fedor Holz (10th, $1,67,869).

Event #88: $5,000 8-Handed No-Limit Hold’em, which is also the last event in the 2021 WSOP schedule began its Day 1 earlier today. The event is currently advancing and has received 531 entries so far. Several big names, including Phil Hellmuth and Daniel Negreanu, are competing at this event for the last bracelet of this year’s series.
