2021 WSOP: First WSOP Gold Bracelet For Vladimir Peck In Event #18

The 2021 World Series of Poker (WSOP) fest has been going on in full swing. Another action-packed tourney, Event #18: $2,500 Mixed Triple Draw Lowball came to an end yesterday. The $2,500 buy-in event witnessed 253 entries battling it across a span of four days. The event generated a prize pool of $5,62,925.

This mixed game event was the first event of the series that required an additional day to decide on the result. Vladimir Peck and Venkata ‘Sandy’ Tayi entered Day 4 for a heads-up. Though Tayi enjoyed a good run in the heads-up, finally Peck emerged victorious and grabbed his first WSOP gold bracelet with $1,34,390 in prize money.

Carlos Rodriguez was the first casualty on the final table of seven on Day 3. Rodriguez departed in seventh place for $15,272. Next in line was Hal Rotholz, who was eliminated at the sixth place for $20,828.

Rotholz was followed by three-time WSOP bracelet winner Brian Yoon. Joao Vieira eliminated Rotholz at the fifth place for $28,818. Aaron Rogers departed next at the fourth place with $40,443 to his bankroll. The only Portuguese on the FT, Vieira was the next to bid farewell to his mates as he departed at the third place for $57,558.

The heads-up between the final two was quite an intense one. Finally, Tayi had to bow down and leave as the runner-up with $83,056 in prize money.
