DPT May 2024: Karan Vohra Ships Mystery Bounty

The wait to find out who shipped the maiden Mystery Bounty tournament at Deltin Poker Tournament (DPT) is over. Karan Vohra shipped the highly anticipated tourney for a sum of ₹6,09,900. He emerged victorious from a field of 214. Vohra beat poker pro Laksh Pal Singh. The runner-up added a sum of ₹3,85,200 to his bankroll for his second place finish.

Mystery Bounty

This event came with a buy-in of ₹16.5K. Players received a starting stack of 25K. The Mystery Bounty event kicked off at 5 PM on 21st May 2024 with levels lasting for 30 minutes. The late registration ended at the start of Level 8. The top 26 players got paid in this event with the min-cash settling at ₹50,825 (prize pool) [₹40,000 (bounty money)].

The final table of the Mystery Bounty was quite power-packed with players like Vatsal Kumar, Devang Yadav, Chirag Sodha and Mohak Kapoor.

Final Hand of Mystery Bounty

The final hand of the Mystery Bounty tournament Singh locked horns with Vohra holding Q♣ 7♦. Singh threw in a bet of 450K on the 7♠ 6♥ 3♥ flop after a check from Karan. After thinking for a bit, Karan shoved all-in for 2.5 Million. The former India Online Poker Championship (IOPC) Main Event winner called with his 2 Million stack to see 10♣ and 9♦ fall on the turn and river respectively. Sadly for Singh Vohra’s Pocket Rockets were too hard to beat.

Other notables in the Mystery Bounty field included names like Radhika Shankar, NPS 2024 winner Deepak Singh, Rishab Malik, Adda52 Game Ambassador Arun Sriram, Shravan Chhabria.
