Leading the Indian charge was Zarvan Tumboli, who finished in 108th place and pocketed $2,940. Known for his aggressive style and deep run capabilities, Tumboli navigated the massive field with skill and precision. Close behind him was Kunal Patni, another well-known figure in the Indian poker circuit, who finished in 137th place and also took home $2,940 for his efforts. Laksh Pal Singh followed with a 165th-place finish, earning $2,603. Singh has quietly built a name for himself through consistent performances, and this cash adds another feather to his cap. Meanwhile, Ashish Anilkumar landed in 250th position, winning $2,326 in prize money. His run showcased a steady approach, managing his stack well through the tournament’s middle stages.

Ankit Ahuja, one of India’s most experienced international players, made yet another WSOP cash by finishing 281st and securing $2,099. Ahuja has already racked up multiple ITM finishes in this year’s series, and his run in the Battle of the Ages is further proof of his consistency and adaptability in large-field events.
Amit Kaushik and Gaurav Sood rounded out the list of Indian ITM finishers. Both players took home $2,012 each for finishing in 363rd and 450th place, respectively. While Kaushik has built a solid reputation in both online and live circuits, Gaurav Sood, a former India #1, continues to make his mark internationally with yet another WSOP cash.
The $1,000 Battle of the Ages was one of the most accessible yet rewarding events on the WSOP 2025 schedule.
