WSOPE 2023 Diamond HR FT: Santhosh Suvarna 2nd Highest In Chips

The poker war at the World Series of Poker Europe (WSOPE) 2023 is getting intense. The battle brewing in Event #12: €50,000 NLH Diamond High Roller has gotten steamy with Indian-origin poker player Santhosh Suvarna turning chip lead ahead of the final table. With a stack of 9.5 Million chips, Suvarna has a pretty good shot at the title and the coveted bracelet.

This event has generated a prize pool of €1,739,925 via its 37 total entries and only nine players left to slog hard for the prestigious bracelet. Well-known player from the international poker circuit, Chris Brewer is also eyeing the top spot.

Famous troublemaker on the poker table Martin Kabrhel participated in this tournament. Notable players like Stephen Chidwick, Adrian Mateos, Timothy Adams, and Nacho Barbero have sadly departed from the Diamond High Roller event. 

The first place finisher will get a pay cheque of €650,000, followed by a payday of €400,000 for the runner-up. Top six places will be paid with the min-cash standing at €103,925.

Coming to Suvarna, Day 1 saw him ending play as the third highest stack of 2,725,000 chips. Ren Lin was the end of Day 1 chip leader. On Day 2, Tamas Adamszki bubbled the final table when Ren Lin eliminated him and let the final nine players get ready for the final table.
