WSOP Returns To Las Vegas in 2025

The World Series of Poker (WSOP) is returning to Las Vegas, with WSOP 2025 being held at the Horseshoe Las Vegas and Paris Las Vegas. The event will be held from 27th May to 16th July 2025. The complete schedule of the tournaments and events has yet to be announced.

WSOP recently concluded its 2024 offerings with the culmination of WSOP Paradise, which was held in the Bahamas from  6th to 19th December. The Main Event of WSOP 2025, which has a $10,000 buy-in, will start on July 2nd, 2025. Until now, there is no information about how many bracelet events the tournament series will have.

Even last year, World Series of Poker held its flagship event, WSOP 2024, in Las Vegas at the same two venues, with a slight change in the dates. WSOP 2024 took place between 28th May and 17th July. In 2024, Jonathan Tamayo shipped the Main Event, taking home $10 Million, one of the biggest cash-outs in 2024.

The WSOP brand was in the news in 2024 when it was acquired by GGPoker. This merger of two of the biggest brands in global poker created the opportunity for bigger, better experiences for the poker-playing community. WSOP events and tournaments have consistently set records. It remains to be seen what the company will do with its first event of the new year in 2025.
