When GGPoker took over the World Series of Poker (WSOP) last year, it created ripples. Now, GGPoker’s parent company, NSUS Group, has bought a stake in High Stakes Poker Productions (HSPP), the creator of Hustler Casino Live (HCL). With this, GGPoker has added a strong media presence.
Hustler Casino Live (HCL) is one of the most popular high-stakes poker live streams, broadcasting real cash games from Hustler Casino in Los Angeles. Launched in 2021 by Ryan Feldman and Nick Vertucci, HCL quickly gained traction for its entertaining mix of poker strategy, prominent personalities, and massive pots.
Unlike traditional poker tournaments, HCL focuses on high-stakes cash games, often featuring famous poker pros, wealthy businessmen, and even social media influencers. The show gained mainstream attention through viral hands involving players like Garrett Adelstein, Tom Dwan, Alan Keating and others.
The stream attracts hundreds of thousands of viewers per session, making it one of the most-watched poker streams worldwide. The move has been said to bring about significant changes in the poker industry. GGPoker Ambassador and Poker icon Daniel Negreanu has revealed that he might return to the felt with this announcement, as he is rarely playing high-stakes poker on streams.

These and some other industry shake-ups are more or less likely to happen, with two of the industry’s biggest brands, GGPoker and WSOP, coming together.
There are a few fledgling poker streaming companies, and this takeover could boost poker content creation companies. Every market has several supporting and secondary markets. The WSOP is the biggest poker tournament, and the WSOP bracelet is the most valuable prize in the circle. Very few individuals have snagged one, increasing the value of the award even more. In India, Santhosh Suvarna is the only poker player to have won two, and Nikita Luther is the only Indian woman to have won one.
GGPoker is one of the largest and most popular online poker platforms, known for its innovative features and massive tournament offerings. The platform is part of the GGNetwork, which operates in multiple countries and attracts players of all skill levels.
GGPoker has earlier hosted the World Series of Poker (WSOP) online events, giving players worldwide a chance to compete for prestigious bracelets from their homes. It has also partnered with well-known poker professionals, such as Daniel Negreanu, to promote the brand.
With frequent promotions, high guarantees, and a strong player pool, GGPoker continues to attract both recreational and professional players, making it a dominant force in the online poker scene.
