WSOP Circuit: Pawel Szostak wins a prestigious ring


Recently, the prestigious King’s Casino, Rozvadov crowned the winner of World Series of Poker Circuit (WSOPC) HI/LO Pot Limit, Poland’s Pawel Szostak shipping the tournament and adding a valuable title to his poker cabinet. This is the sixth championship event from the schedule of the autumn edition of the WSOPC festival.

The Ring Event #6 of the WSOP Circuit registered a modest number of 116 players (including 24 re-entries) who entered for a buy-in of €290. A prize pool of €29,754 was collected to be shared among the top 13 remaining receiving minimum cash of €595.

Szostak topped the field by adding a handsome amount of €7,899 (~INR 6.14 Lakhs) and the WSOP Circuit ring. He defeated Franz Haid in heads up placing him in the runner-up position who walked out of the tournament with €5,490 (~INR 4.26 Lakhs).

Several times Szostak has been close to the championships title and winning various side events. His last recorded live score was Kc 49,900 Poker Fever Main Event, Olomouc. Other notable players receiving a paycheck include winner of 2017 NLH/PLO- 8 handed, WSOP Las Vegas Sebastian Langrock (€595), Germany’s Sarharib Karatas (€595), and his countrymate Michael Rolf Henning Kosmis (€640) and so on.
