Day 33 at the 2024 World Series of Poker (WSOP) was another thrilling day, with four bracelets awarded! Elie Nakache showcased a stellar heads-up performance to win Event #68: $10,000 Pot-Limit Omaha Championship. He triumphed over Joshua Adkins in a decisive duel, earning $1,320,945 and the coveted WSOP bracelet.
Ben Collins emerged victorious in Event #67: $500 Salute to Warriors No-Limit Hold’em, taking home $207,486. The event also raised $180,680 for U.S. veterans’ organizations, drawing 4,517 entries.

Event #68: $2,500 No-Limit Hold’em saw Colin Robinson claim victory. After a tough start on Day 3, Robinson secured his first bracelet and $667,963, a significant improvement from his second-place finish in the previous year’s Monster Stack.

Nikolay Fal won Event #69: $1,500 Seven Card Stud Hi-Lo 8 or Better, earning $153,730. He overcame a competitive final table that included Joey Couden and Yuval Bronshtein.
Gus Hansen entered the PLO High Roller, while Jamie Kerstetter, Jennifer Shahade, and Marle Spragg advanced to Day 2 of the Ladies Event. The 2-7 Triple Draw Championship reached its final nine, featuring 25 bracelets and a Poker Hall of Famer among the contenders.
Event #70: $400 Colossus saw 712 additional survivors on Day 1b, totaling 1,300. Lisa Tan emerged as the new chip leader with 1,680,000, surpassing Day 1a leader Dohang Na (1,659,000). Notable survivors include Craig Chait, David Bach, David “ODB” Baker, Barry Greenstein, and Prahlad Friedman. Day 1c begins at 10 AM on 30th June.

With 36 players remaining in Event #71: $1,000 Ladies No-Limit Hold’em, last year’s runner-up Shiina Okamoto leads. Cecile Ticherfatine and Andrea Sager follow closely. Other notable players still in contention include Jamie Kerstetter, Nadya Magnus, Marle Spragg, and Jennifer Shahade. The prize pool is $1,095,600, with today’s survivors guaranteed at least $4,958. Day 3 starts on 30th June at noon.
Event #72: $10,000 No-Limit 2-7 Lowball Triple Draw Championship is down to nine players, including three six-time bracelet winners: Jeremy Ausmus, Scott Seiver, and Jason Mercier; five-time winner Robert Mizrachi; Poker Hall of Famer Jen Harman; and top-30 all-time money winner Mike Watson. The final nine return on 30th June at 1 PM to determine the winner.

Day 1 of Event #73: $25,000 High Roller Pot-Limit Omaha saw 365 entries and a prize pool of $8,577,500. Gus Hansen bagged 326,000 chips, joined by poker legends Daniel Negreanu, Phil Ivey, Viktor Blom, Chino Rheem, and Connor Drinan. Among those who busted were Isaac Haxton, Seth Davies, Dylan Weisman, and Anthony Zinno, who may re-enter on Day 2. The action resumes at 1 PM on 30th June.
