On Day 23 of the 2024 World Series of Poker (WSOP), Chris Hunichen captured his first WSOP bracelet by winning Event #47: $100,000 High Roller No-Limit Hold’em, securing a massive $2,828,389 prize. It’s uncertain whether the bracelet or the cash prize thrilled Hunichen more, but becoming a WSOP champion for the first time was undoubtedly a significant moment.

In Event #51: $1,500 Super Turbo Bounty No-Limit Hold’em, Peter Park emerged victorious from a field of 2,110 participants, many of whom struggled against the 20-minute blind levels. Park took home a gold bracelet and $240,724, an impressive reward for a single day’s effort.
The $10,000 H.O.R.S.E. Championship was scheduled to conclude, but Mike Leah and Maksim Pisarenko paused the tournament to participate in the Nine-Game Mix event. Play will resume on 21st June 21 at 10:00 AM.

Mark Seif, a two-time WSOP champion, stands among the chip leaders in Event #46: $1,000 Seniors No-Limit Hold’em Championship with only 208 players remaining. Seif, who narrowly missed adding a bracelet last year, is well-positioned to end his bracelet drought. Canada’s Nathan Henry is the overnight chip leader, followed by Marc Wolpert in second place. Other notable players include recent bracelet winner Magnus Edengren and champions Julio Belluscio, Farzad Bonyadi, and Luis Velador. Play resumes on 21st June at 11:00 AM.

WSOP 2024: Phil Ivey Wins 11th Bracelet Ending 10-Year Drought
Ben Hoy leads the final 13 players in Event #49: $3,000 Freezeout No-Limit Hold’em, guaranteeing his largest-ever poker tournament score. Hoy aims for the $523,195 top prize and the bracelet. Joseph Carden is close behind, with a minimal gap separating the rest of the finalists, including Uri Reichenstein, David Stamm, and Ivan Ruban. The final day’s action resumes on 21st June.

Shack-Harris and George Alexander top the chip counts, followed by Ren Lin, Dzmitry Urbanovich, Hal Rotholz, Robert Campbell, John Racener, and Brian Yoon. Phil Ivey, a recent bracelet winner, also remains in contention, though with a short stack. Play resumes on 21st June at 1:00 PM.

Day 2 begins on 21st June at 12:00 PM.
Richard Ashby leads after Day 1 of Event #53: $3,000 Nine-Game Mix, following his recent bracelet win. Of the 379 entrants, only 139 remain, including top players Yuri Dzivielevski, Bryan Micon, Koray Aldemir, and Brian Rast. Other notable survivors include Adam Friedman, Robert Mizrachi, and Phil Hellmuth. Day 2 begins on 21st June at 1:00 PM.
