On Day 22 of the 2024 World Series of Poker (WSOP) at the Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas, nine bracelet-awarding events were in play. Among these, two concluded with winners, four reached their final tables, and the others reduced their fields to more manageable numbers.
Event #43: $1,500 Mixed Omaha crowned its champion a day later than expected. Magnus Edengren emerged victorious after a marathon session, winning $196,970 and his first WSOP bracelet.
Event #44: $2,000 No-Limit Hold’em saw Jared Kingery take home the gold bracelet and $410,359. 17 players returned for the final day’s play, with Kingery coming out on top.

Only seven players remain in Event #38: $1,500 Monster Stack No-Limit Hold’em, with Pedro Neves leading the pack. Neves holds 172,200,000 chips, equivalent to 86 big blinds, and is poised to claim the first-place prize of $1,098,220 and the bracelet. However, strong competitors like Aaron Johnson, Brian Roff, Jerry Maher, Tim Reilly, Jose Carlos, and Guangming Li remain in contention. The final table action starts at 1:00 PM local time on 20th June.

Event #45: $10,000 H.O.R.S.E. Championship is down to five players. Benny Glaser leads the charge, aiming for his sixth WSOP bracelet. Hot on his heels is Russia’s Maksim Pisarenko, with Lawrence Brandt, Steve Zolotow, and Mike Leah also in the mix. The final five will resume play on June 20.
Event #46: $1,000 Seniors No-Limit Hold’em Championship saw a record-breaking turnout for Day 1B. After 11 levels, 914 players progressed to Day 2. William Elliott leads with 530,000 chips. Notable players like Gary Benson, Waheed Ashraf, John Kabbaj, Farzad Bonyadi, and $25K Fantasy Draft selections Matt Glantz, Mike Matusow, and John Hennigan also advanced. Day 2 starts at 11:00 AM local time on 20th June.

Sweden’s Viktor Blom, known as “Isildur1,” leads the six-handed final table of Event #47: $100,000 High Roller No-Limit Hold’em. Blom bagged 92 big blinds, with Chris Hunichen close behind. Chance Kornuth, Aleksejs Ponakovs, Jeremy Ausmus, and Justin Saliba round out the final six. The final table starts at 1:00 PM local time on 20th June, with PokerGO streaming from 2:00 PM.

Event #48: $1,000 Pot-Limit Omaha 8-Handed is down to its final table of eight. David Prociak leads, with Christopher Vitch and Thomas Taylor close behind. The final table, featuring top-tier players, will continue on June 20 until a champion is crowned.

Event #49: $3,000 Freezeout No-Limit Hold’em saw 1,252 players generate a $3,342,840 prize pool. By the end of Day 1, 187 players remained, each in the money. Sami Bechahed finished fourth in chips, while Russia’s Ivan Ruban, David Stamm, and John Kenner led the pack. Day 2 resumes at 12:00 PM local time on 20th June.
Event #50: $10,000 Razz Championship saw Eric Rodawig and Ren Lin top the chip counts. Day 1 also featured notable players like Daniel Negreanu, Denis Strebkov, Nick Schulman, John Monnette, and Scott Seiver. Play resumes at 1:00 PM local time on 20th June, with late registration open until the first level’s completion.
