WSOP 2024 Day 13: Gaurav Sood And Gunisha Sinha Battling In Gladiators Of Poker Day 2

9th June marked the 13th day of the 2024 World Series of Poker (WSOP), a day that, despite its quieter nature, still delivered some remarkable poker action. One of the highlights was an incredible comeback in the $1,500 SHOOTOUT No-Limit Hold’em event, while the legendary Roland Israelashvili positioned himself for a shot at his first gold bracelet after more than 500 money finishes at the WSOP.

Event #23: $1,500 SHOOTOUT No-Limit Hold’em

Dan Sepiol etched his name into WSOP history with a stunning comeback in Event #23: $1,500 SHOOTOUT No-Limit Hold’em. Entering the heads-up battle against Robert Natividad at a 17-to-1 chip disadvantage, Sepiol appeared destined for a runner-up finish. However, he defied the odds, emerged victorious, and claimed the $305,849 top prize along with his first WSOP bracelet.
