In what is destined to be one of the most talked-about bluffs in World Series of Poker (WSOP) history, a jaw-dropping play unfolded during heads-up action in Event #34: $2,500 Freezeout No-Limit Hold’em. The unforgettable hand, reminiscent of poker’s loose-aggressive golden era in the 2000s, featured Antonio Galiana and Johan Guilbert, both vying for their first bracelet and the $439,395 prize.
A flush on the board and a daring fourth river raise from a player holding seven-high set the stage for a hand that needs to be seen to be believed.
The hand between Guilbert and Galiana began innocuously enough. Guilbert, holding J♠2♦, and Galiana, with 7♠5♥, checked down a flop of 10♣6♣3♣. The same action followed when the 8♣ hit the turn. But the 2♣ on the river, bringing a flush to the board, ignited an explosive sequence that transformed what could have been a chopped pot into a legendary showdown.
One of the best bluffs in @WSOP history!?

Galiana led out with a 900,000 bet. Guilbert, after some contemplation, raised to 1,950,000. Galiana, deep in thought, studied the board and his opponent before announcing a re-raise to 6,300,000. The action was far from over. Guilbert, pondering his next move, eventually pushed forward a full barrel of 500,000 chips, re-raising to 10,000,000.

Galiana, leaning forward and shuffling chips, responded by declaring an all-in bet, prompting an immediate fold from Guilbert.
Galiana triumphantly revealed his 7♠5♥, slamming the cards on the table. Guilbert tapped the table in acknowledgment and later complimented him with a “nice hand.” “The final level of that game has been reached!” exclaimed Jeff Platt. “That’s one of the best bluffs in World Series of Poker (WSOP) history.”
