WPT Vietnam 2024 Passport To World Championship Cancelled

In a shocking turn of events, Crown Poker Club shared an update on their official Facebook page regarding the WPT Vietnam 2024 Passport to the World Championship event to be held from 14th-27th May 2024. The poker club announced the cancellation of the highly anticipated WPT event without stating any clear reason. The post shared by Crown Poker Club read: 

“EMERGENCY NOTICE

For technical reasons and with the best intentions for all athletes, Crown Poker Club would like to announce the cancellation of the WPT Vietnam 2024 – Passport to the World Championship scheduled to take place at Crown Poker Club from May 14, 2024. 2024 to May 27, 2024

Crown Poker Club regrets this inconvenience. This is truly a difficult decision because, throughout its operation, Crown Poker Club has always prioritized safety and improving tournament quality first.

Therefore, Crown Poker Club hopes for the sharing and sympathy of our partners, customers, and all players.

Regarding refunds for Early Birds tickets, athletes please contact customer service for a refund. Further details will be announced by Crown Poker Club as soon as possible.

The Main Event was slated to run between 23rd and 27th May, but now the entire series stands cancelled. WPT so far has not issued any statement in this regard. WPT events in Asia remain to be one of the most awaited tournaments for players in India.
