WPT Prime India 2023 Main Event Creates History!

It’s a historic moment here at the WPT Prime India 2023 aboard the Deltin Royale Casino in Goa. The series has recorded the highest-ever entry field at the Main Event of WPT India event. Across the three days of starting flights, the event has recorded an entry field of a total of 857 entries. These came from:

• 181 entries on Day 1A
• 284 entries on Day 1B
• 392 entries on Day 1C

This is the biggest entry field in the history of WPT India. The series is being hosted for the fourth time. The previous best was WPT India 2018 which recorded a total of 697 entries. The series returned to India after a three-year-long hiatus. The numbers and overwhelming response is just a testimony of how excited and eager the players were for the series to return.

As per the decision of the organisers, 12.5% of this field will be paid out. 59 players have already made their way into Day 2 and secured a spot in the money from Day 1 and Day 2 respectively. Check out the complete list of survivors so far:
