WPT Prime Cambodia 2023 Live Updates


The World Poker Tour (WPT) Prime Cambodia 2023 festival is going on in full swing at the Nagaworld Integrated Resorts in Phnom Penh. The festival returned for a second edition in the country on 9th March 2023 and will end on 21st March 2023.

The WPT Prime Cambodia 2023 is proving to be a massive success. So far, it has crowned several champions at different events. Check out the entire list of winners here. These winners are awarded impressive prizes with the prestigious WPT trophy and a WPT title to flaunt on their poker resume.

Day 8 – 16th March 2023

Flight 1A of the WPT Prime Cambodia 2023 concluded yesterday with three Indian players finishing among the top stacks. Shardul Parthasarathi, Alok Birewar and Gaurav Sood have made it to Day 2 of the Main Event with the third, fourth and event highest stacks of 509,000, 474,000 and 345,000 chips respectively. Similarly, Raju Jaruplavath (3rd, $11,214), Akshay Kapoor (4th, $6,822), Rajneesh Katoch (5th, $5,268), Anmol Mehta (9th, $2,536), Abhijith Cheruku (18th, $1,548), Pratibh Saluja (19th, $1,271), Somashekar Nahadeva (22nd, $1,007), Mahesh Shyamsundar (25th, $882), and Jasven Saigal (31st, $754)  finished in the money at the Bounty Event. Apart from these, players like Zarvan Tumboli, Abhishekh Goindi also picked bouties. Two Indians, Deep Raina and Sajay Kandampully, progressed to Day 2 of PLO with 5th and sixth highest stack of 145,000 and 168,000 chips respectively. 

Day 7 – 15th March 2023

Day 7 of the series saw three Indians cash at the NLH Hyper Turbo. Rahul Marwaha finished third for $1,865, while Saransh Garg and Harsh Bubna finished fifth and 12th for $932 and $389, respectively. NLH Single Day saw Arun Sriram cash at $1,559. Similarly, Jasven Saigal and Sameer Agarwal finished fourth and fifth for $10,750 and $8,255, respectively.
