WPT Online 2021: Vishnu Khandelwal & Dhinesh Kumar Emerge Victorious


The third day of the World Poker Tour (WPT) witnessed some intense action. Top pros from the poker fraternity slogged it out on the virtual felts to grab the top spots. Amateurs also made their presence felt by grabbing some exciting prizes. Here’s what went down on WPT yesterday.

WPT Mini 6-Max – ₹8 Lakh

This tournament witnessed 415 entries in total. The initial guarantee was surpassed and the final prize pool stood at ₹8.30 Lakh. The top 43 places walked away with a min-cash of ₹4,565.

Dhinesh Kumar aka ‘dinzy009’

Dhinesh Kumar aka ‘dinzy009’ shipped this tournament for ₹2,05,840. Debapriya Manna aka ‘debapriya_12345’ finished second and cashed ₹1,24,500 in prize money. Anonymous player ‘MrJo’ grabbed the third spot for the highest five-figure prize of ₹87,150.

Gagandeep Singh finished at the 7th place for ₹22,825. Kritagya Sharma left at the 15th spot for ₹8,300. Rajat Sharma busted at the 34th spot for ₹5,395. WPT Table for 6  winner, Vivek Karwa finished 37th at this tourney for ₹4,565. Mohit Mehta left the table at the 41st spot for ₹4,565.

WPT Tuesday Feature – ₹22.5 Lakh

WPT Tuesday Feature was a star-studded affair. The tournament had 500 entries who battled it out for the top spots. A min-cash of ₹10,125 was paid to the top 55 places.

Vishnu Khandelwal aka ‘violator’ topped the table and added ₹5,40,000 to his bankroll. Gutshot January 2021 e-magazine cover star, Gaurav Sood aka ‘gauravarod’ was the runner-up. He walked away with ₹3,15,000 in prize money. IOPC Legends runner-up, Arsh Grover aka ‘BigggTymerR’ pocketed ₹2,13,750 at the third place.

Arun Sriram busted at the 10th spot for ₹28,125. Sanat Mehrotra busted at the 17th spot for ₹19,125. Bharath Kumar finished 25th for ₹14,625, while Kritagya Sharma finished 39th for ₹122,375. Aditya Singh busted at the 53rd place for ₹10,125 and Ritwik Khanna busted at the 55th place for ₹10,125.
