World Cricket Championship 3 Now Offers ESPORTS Mode

Esports developer Nextwave Media recently announced that the esports mode of World Cricket Championship 3 (WCC3) will be available on Android and iOS. This mode is known as ‘Esports Lobby’ and it allows users to host both casual as well as professional tournaments. The users also get a special feature where they can view the matches from multiple camera angles and shoutcast on live video streams.

Talking about the esports mode, PR Rajendra, CEO, and co-founder of Next Wave says, “With the exponential growth of esports in the country, we thought that this would be the perfect opportunity to launch the Esports lobby. We wish to add value to the ecosystem of esports with the help of WCC3.”

Next Wave also wishes to bring in custom difficulty settings, new cutscenes, challenge a friend mode, the ability to capture highlights and more using WCC3. One of the features, the custom difficulty setting gives players more choices and lets them play around. With higher difficulties in WCC3, players get to unlock newer kits too.

This WCC3 game will be available on Android and iOS as it has crossed more than 35 million downloads last year. Overall, the series as a whole had garnered more than 155 Million downloads since the time it was launched. WCC3 has also featured some prominent esports tournaments including Redbull M.E.O, Skyesports and LXG WCC tournaments. This game is made in India and it assures an immersive experience to its players.

Earlier this year, the second edition of the WCC2 won the AatmaNirbhar Bharat App Innovation Challenge which was hosted by the Government of India. The franchise of WCC has also been presented with many awards such as Google Editor’s Choice (2016-2020), Apple’s Best of Games 2016, 2017, and 2018.
