We reached out to Karan Gandhi, Co-founder and Business Development Head of PokerDangal, and asked a few questions about the tournament.

Q:  What are the conditions on the withdrawal?

Karan:  Zero. There are no conditions for withdrawal of the winnings of the tournament. The winners can withdraw the winnings immediately and can receive the amount in their bank account within 30 seconds.

Q: Why would any website conduct Depositors Freeroll with such a low deposit amount? It looks like a loss-making tournament.

Karan: The idea is not to make any profits from the Depositors Freeroll. It is designed to provide an experience of the cash tables and of the tournament on PokerDangal’s platform to the players. We want to reach out to the small stakes players and new players who haven’t experienced PokerDangal yet. 

Q: Is there any upper limit on the number of players that can participate in Depositor’s Freeroll?

Karan: No, there is no limit on the number of players. Anyone who deposits a minimum of Rs 200 using code “1Lac” ticket will be credited for the tournament.
