Wednesday Round Up: Lakhotia, Gangwar & Kulkarni Worked Their Magic On Poker Platforms Yesterday


The action on the poker felts was heated and Wednesday’s grind got more wild. Spartan Poker, PokerBaazi, and Adda52 had several online regs clinching winning titles and making a mark among the hundreds of entries who participated. Let’s take a look at what happened on these online poker platforms yesterday. 

Destiny – ₹29 Lakh GTD

Spartan Poker’s Destiny tournament was a ₹5,500 buy-in event and the top 50 players were paid a min-cash of ₹14,500. There were 572 total entries in this tournament and Siddharth Gangwar aka ‘cooking_nuts’ shipped this tournament taking home a whopping ₹6,83,116. The runner-up of this tournament was Bhanu Prakash aka ‘spectre’ who cashed ₹5,34,883.

Maverick – ₹10 Lakh GTD

Adda52’s Maverick tournament had 707 entries in total. The top 72 players were paid a min-cash of ₹3,217 for this ₹2,500 buy-in event. The advertised guarantee of this tournament was ₹10 Lakh but it was crushed massively and a bigger prize pool of ₹16,08,423 was formed. 

The winner of this tournament was Manish Lakhotia aka ‘newkidpoker’ who took home ₹4,02,106 in prize money. Lakhotia was followed by Myron Pereira aka ‘zzzzz369’ who cashed ₹2,33,222.

The Pride – ₹10 Lakh GTD

PokerBaazi’s The Pride tournament was a ₹3,850 buy-in event. This tournament had 338 entries in total and the top 45 players were paid a min-cash of ₹6,624. The advertised guarantee of this tournament was surpassed and a slightly bigger prize pool of ₹11,83,000 was formed.

Aditya Kulkarni aka ‘adit11’ shipped this tournament and laughed his way to the bank with ₹2,48,000 in prize money. Vivek Singh aka ‘Nutpeddling729’ gave a tough fight to Kulkarni and ended up as the runner-up and cashed ₹1,74,000.
