Vinayak Bajaj wins ReCharge on Spartan

Spartan Poker is well-known among online platforms allowing loyal poker players to showcase their skills. The previous night saw yet another winner walking out of ReCharge INR 12 Lakhs GTD. This tournament is scheduled to take place each Monday and these daily events hosted by Spartan are increasingly becoming popular.

It was 8 pm when the tournament started and eventually attracted a total number of 614 hopefuls (including 119 re-entries, 224 rebuys) to grab their seats for a buy-in of INR 2,200. The prize pool slightly managed to break the guaranteed amount and drew INR 12,28,000. Eventually, this was well-received by the final 55 players who came out of the tournament for a minimum amount of INR 6,017.

At 3:10am, ReCharge crowned Vinayak Bajaj under the name ‘tuktuki’ as winner of the Monday tournament. Bajaj is a well-known player across various online poker platforms. The 7-hour long grind resulted in tough competition including Bajaj against ‘99ayka99’ in the heads-up battle. At Level #48, both players entered the tournament with Bajaj carrying a slightly larger stack.

The blinds 36,000/72,000 were posted. In the pre-flop round, the cards were in favor of ‘99ayka99’. The board gradually opened 6d 3d 9h Qd 8s, while both players checked, Bajaj collected from the pot for his pair of 9’s while the other showed 5c 5d.

Other players witnessing a paycheck include Manish Lakhotia aka ‘thekid’ (3^rd), Rachit Parihar aka ‘d9L’ (4^th), Ashish Munot aka ‘Donkey07’ (21^st), Sagar Choudhary aka ‘lolMinions’ (32^nd), Shawn Chatterton aka ‘N00b N00b’ (36^th), Siddarth Singhvi aka ‘PeterPunter’ (47^th) and so on.
