Vinay B tops Week 3 of Spartan Hot Tournament Leaderboard

The most exciting featured daily tournaments at The Spartan Poker are well and truly heating up as we head towards the finish line of this promotion. The ‘Hot Tournament Leaderboard’ of the month where players can participate in certain featured events every evening and earn leaderboard points is drawing the competitive spirit from within the players. Every evening’s daily featured tournament features a very healthy guarantee and players who make the money are awarded points for the leaderboard. A mouthwatering INR 15 Lakhs is up for grabs for the participating players of the leaderboard including a juicy INR 5 Lakhs up top.

The player who is consistently making these points is not surprisingly sitting pretty on the top of the leaderboard. Bangalore-based Vinay B claims top spot at the end of Week 3 with 3,011 leaderboard points playing 33 tournaments. This is the second week in a row that he has retained his first place position. His competition in the top 3 includes Arsh ‘BigggTymeR’ Grover with 2,642 leaderboard points who has played 19 tournaments and who was also the Week 1 leader on the leaderboard. At third place, it’s Mithun ‘ThePokeRaja’ Mahesh with 2,222 points having played 29 tournaments till date. 31^st May is the final day for Hot Tournament Leaderboard Challenge with the winner set to be announced the following day.

Vinay’s biggest cashes have come from his participating in the Elite tournament and Saturday‘s DareDevil tournament. To recap, he shipped The Elite tournament for INR 415,140, a 2nd place finish in the DareDevil for INR 125,199, a 4th place finish in The Electra for INR 55,090, another runner-up finish in the Elite tournament for INR 196,725 (3rd), claiming the Daredevil title for INR 1,18,190 this past Saturday and he rounded off the week with a 37th place finish in the Sunday SuperStack for INR 13,290.

He might be almost 400 points ahead of Grover but Vinay B will certainly not be taking it easy as there are still 9 days and plenty of featured tournaments left in this challenge.
