Online grinder Arsh Grover took home PokerStars’ INSCOOP title after already finishing second in PokerBaazi’s PMVS. With a buy-in of INR 4,400 a total number of 694 runners pounced on the field of Ultron INR 30 Lakh GTD on Spartan Poker last night. The min-cash was well-received by the top 63 places and it was online reg Priyank Kothari aka ‘Piko’ to come out on top at 3:39 am. Kothari took home the Ultron title along with the largest chunk of the prize pool while his opponent ‘pofunder’ settled in the runner-up position.
At 11 pm last night, Spartan Poker hosted Monster Stack INR 5 Lakh GTD which garnered a field of 385 entries. The top 31 players earned a paycheck of at least INR 5K as min-cash. And it was the first-ever Millionaire United champ Mahima Walia aka ‘mambojojo’ to triumph the field after knocking out ‘Sjb1023’ in heads-up to seize the winner’s title!
The special edition of PMVS on PokerBaazi hosted PMVS #7 INR 6 Lakh GTD which attracted a field of 214 entries for a buy-in of INR 2,750. Before the tournament concluded it was Rony Chowdhury aka ‘bisadip176’ to emerge triumphant after defeating Anuj Mahajan aka ‘technoforever’ in heads-up for INR 1.41 Lakh in prize money.
Thursday flagship event on PokerBaazi was PMVS #8 HR Summit INR 30 Lakh GTD that displayed a buy-in of INR 11,000. The guarantee was eventually surpassed to become INR 31.2 Lakh in prize pool after 312 runners took their seats. After 8+ hours of intense grinding session, ‘Iamfish’ powered through the field to grab the winner’s title along with a hefty INR 6.89 Lakh in prize money. The champion defeated Arsh Grover aka ‘Button_Hai_Bro’ in heads-up who bagged INR 4.84 Lakh for settling in the runner-up position.
Another attraction on PokerBaazi was PMVS #9 MegaStack INR 10 Lakh GTD which pulled out 375 entries after each one chipped in INR 3,300. This led to the creation of INR 11.25 Lakh in prize pool and the top 45 players ended up in the money. After hours of grinding, it was Ankit Wadhawan aka ‘’d00mtr00p3r’ who outlasted the field and eliminated ‘acejamal’ in heads-up to bank INR 2.36 Lakh in prize money.
The biggest guarantee tournament on Day 8 of AOPS on Adda52 was AOPS Mandovi INR 35 Lakh GTD. The event attracted 789 runners who paid INR 5,500, eventually crushing the guarantee to create INR 39.45 Lakh prize pool. Claiming the first-place prize money was online grinder Sanat Mehrotra aka ‘mehro2511’ who knocked out ‘OMFG’ in heads-up and banked a whopping INR 9.07 Lakh in prize money!
It was an incredible day for Sanat Mehrotra aka ‘mehro2511’ who rode past the field once again to take down AOPS PLO HighRoller INR 12.5 Lakh on Adda52 last night. The champion of the night grabbed INR 3.91 Lakh in prize money after outlasting a field of 145 entries. It was Gaurav Sood who banked the second place payout of INR 2.46 Lakh after being knocked out by Mehrotra in heads-up.
PokerStars hosted INSCOOP – 48 Thursday Thrill INR 5 Lakh GTD last evening which attracted 153 entries out of which only the top 29 could take home a share from the prize pool. Topping the list was SSS Millionaire champ Parikshit Dhall aka ‘Zapdos123’ who eliminated ‘sj_Heisenberg’ in heads-up and grabbed INR 96,018 in prize money.
With a buy-in of INR 15,000 a total of 249 hopefuls grabbed their seats on PokerStars’ INSCOOP- 52 Highroller INR 30 Lakh GTD. The advertised guarantee was surpassed to collect INR 33.96 Lakh in prize pool and the top 41 finishers earned a share from the same. After finishing second in PokerBaazi’s HR Summit, Arsh Grover aka ‘BiggggTymeR’ clinched to the winner’s title and INR 6.29 Lakh in cash prize! The event concluded after the players struck a heads-up deal which saw ‘PsykoEko’ in the runner-up position.
Online grinder Anmol Mehta aka ‘Kaanchacheena’ took down INSCOOP- 54 The Classic INR 6 Lakh GTD on PokerStars last night. A total of 270 entries paid INR 2,500 to hunt for the prize money. Eventually, the top 27 finishers earned a payout but Mehta grabbed the largest portion of INR 6.14 Lakh prize pool after beating Vikas Awal aka ‘luckybuoy’ in heads-up. The champion secured INR 1.35 Lakh while Awal added INR 1.01 Lakh to his poker bankroll.
