The Spartan Poker acquires FTR Poker

In breaking news released earlier today, The Spartan Poker has bought over FTRPoker.com and will handle the brand from hereon. Founded in 2014, The Spartan Poker has, in the past 4 years, established itself as one of the leading poker websites in the country. From its signature Millionaire tournament taking place every month to other tournament offerings like 2.o.K, Elite, Sunday SuperStack, MegaStack as well top series like the India Online Poker Championship and the Spartan Super Series, the brand has become a strong player favourite.

FTRPoker was set up in April 2016 by young entrepreneurs Vatsal Thirani and Kanishk Bansal under the company Diode Gaming Pvt Ltd. Operating out of Gurgaon, the site has a burgeoning player base and has introduced notable properties on their client like the Big Bang, Mega Bang and Moneytree series.

According to The Spartan Poker‘s MD Amin Rozani, the discussion between both sides culminated last week in a purchase. “We are delighted to announce that Quadrific Media has acquired FTRPoker last week. FTR Poker players will now be able to enjoy the same level of services and great value for their investments as is being enjoyed by Spartan players. With this acquisition, we have created another option for the players and added great value to our company as well. This will mark the beginning of a new era in the world of Indian poker,” said Rozani to Gutshot earlier this morning.

More details about this acquisition are expected to be released in the coming days so stay tuned to GutshotMagazine.com – the #1 platform for latest online poker news for more updates on this breaking news.
