Sushant, Patni, Lamba progress in Bounty Event #78


Everyone has their focus on the World Series of Poker (WSOP) Main Event but for those for couldn’t make it to Day 3, 4, 5 and further, there are still a lot of opportunities for bringing home a WSOP gold bracelet. Among the tournaments running simultaneously with the Main Event is Event #78: $1,500 Pot-Limit Omaha Bounty which kicked off earlier today in Las Vegas.

The tournament drew 1,130 entries on the first day, generating a prize pool of a little less than a million dollars. Among the 247 players that progressed to the second day were three Indians – 2017 bracelet winner Aditya Sushant and Adda52 ambassadors Kunal Patni and Minissha Lamba.

Anton Wigg (173k), Andrew Donabedian (139k), Daniel Negreanu (64k), and Phil Hellmuth (37k) were some of the notables to progress to Day 2 and Tobias Schwecht topped the chip counts with 419k chips, taking a major advantage into Day 2. 170 players will be paid tomorrow with a min-cash of $1,416.

Sushant leads the Indian charge with an above average stack of 215,300 chips while he is closely followed by Patni, who has 173,900 chips. As for Minissha, she progresses with 100,700 and she is coming into this tournament after a cash in 252nd place at the Monster Stack Event.

  5. Jason Young – 356,300

  9. Senovio Ramirez III – 302,400      
  10. Jonathan Depa – 300,400
