Sumit Sapra Wins Flip-out For a PSPC Platinum Pass

IN SHORT: Sumit Sapra wins a three-round flip-out for a PSPC Platinum Pass at the APPT Korea Main Event!

Sumit Sapra is a finance professional who took a break from the corporate world to pursue his passion and become a poker pro in 2015. Over the last couple of years, he has become a popular name in the Indian poker circuit, cashing out at places like Macau, Manila, England, Las Vegas, and Cambodia. He has also won several titles online!

He came into the limelight when he shipped the PokerGuru Season 2 High Roller Event for INR 7.5 lakh. He then shipped a PLO event in Cambodia and his highest ever live cash of INR 11.54 lakh came in the recent, inaugural WPT India, for finishing fourth.

He was present at the ongoing APPT Korea and he reached Day 2 of the Main Event, where all players were eligible to win a PSPC Platinum Pass. He won a three-round flipout to win the Platinum Pass at the start of Day 2 of the Main Event. Sapra crashed out of the ME but we’re pretty sure he’s gained from winning this Platinum Pass!

What is a PSPC Platinum Pass?

A PSPC (PokerStars Players Championship) is a ticket given away online and at PokerStars Live events. It is a $25,000 entry to the PokerStars Players NL Hold’em Championship, a new annual tournament held for the players. These passes are given away throughout the year and the championship will take place between January 6-10, 2019 in The Bahamas.
