Stephen Song Ships Back To Back Events At TLPT 2025 Jeju

Stephen Song, one of the most famous poker players in the world, is once again proving why he is just that – he took his second title at The Lord Poker Tournament in Jeju, just days after shipping the Main Event of the tournament.  With this, he has had three final table appearances and two title wins within a span of just seven days. He took the most cash in Event #11 TLPT 2025 for $204,000 (₹1.7 Crore)

The event was a firestorm of poker skills, with 32 entries generating a total prize pool of $ 640 K. The event was star-studded, with the entries having 10 WSOP bracelets and several other iconic poker jewellery pieces between them. The Final Table action saw Song take an ICM deal with Calvin Lee, who himself took home the runner-up amount of $200,000.

Stephen Song’s poker career is distinguished by a string of impressive achievements. He captured his first World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelet in 2019 and has since added several WSOP Circuit rings to his name. In 2022, he made a major breakthrough by winning the World Poker Tour (WPT) Prime Championship, where he earned $712,650 and was honoured as the Global Poker Index (GPI) Player of the Year.

That year, he recorded an outstanding 51 cashes, with 43 coming from live events and 8 from online tournaments. The Lord Poker Tournament (TLPT) is a leading international poker festival, with its 2025 edition taking place from May 13 to 22 at the Landing Casino, located within the Jeju Shinhwa World Hotel in South Korea. The series boasted over $10 Million in guaranteed prize pools spread across 13 events, drawing elite poker talent from around the world.

With all this in play, the Lord’s Poker Tournament is poised to become one of the most prominent names in the poker industry. With Stephen Song booking two wins, the prestige of both the events—and that includes the main event—as well as the tournament itself, has grown by leaps and bounds.
