Sriharsha Completes The Double; IOPC SHR Title Comes Home!

Just a few days back, we reported news of Sriharsha Doddapaneni aka ‘Potato Player’ taking down one of the major tournaments in the ongoing India Online Poker Championship (IOPC) on Spartan Poker. He shipped the IOPC Highroller for a whopping INR 21 Lakh after a heads-up deal and he made yet another final table last night, this time in the IOPC Super Highroller!

The IOPC Super Highroller INR 1.25 Crore GTD began yesterday and after a super long grind of 8+ hours, the tournament paused after we reached the final table of 6 players. Vaibhav Sharma aka ‘Nikka Zaildar’ had the chip lead but he wasn’t able to take it all the way, finishing in fifth place eventually. The winner was once again, Sriharsha D. What a beast!

Final Table Recap

First to go was Nagendra Vadlamani aka ‘SorosDruckTudor’ who was also on his second live streamed final table in this IOPC Jan 2021 series. He finished in 6th place and bagged a prize just short of INR 9 Lakh after losing AT to KT suited. The next knockout was an absolute shocker as the overnight chip leader Vaibhav Sharma hit out in 5th place and took home a touch above INR 11.2 Lakh in prize money.

In fourth place was Ashish Munot aka ‘Donkey 07’ who is another player to have made another live streamed final table this series. It goes to show how poker truly is a game of skill and that these guys are the best in the business in such high-stakes tournaments. Munot once again fell slightly short of the title, taking home around INR 14 Lakh for finishing 4th.

In third place was Naresh Veeravalli aka ‘FreeFlow’ who would’ve been the happiest from these players considering he started as the shortest stack on this table. He chipped up early after executing the first KO of the final table in Vadlamani and eventually, he took home INR 16.9 Lakh for finishing in third.

From there, it was heads-up and that didn’t last too long. Considering the big prizes and pay jumps up for grabs in this SHR, Sriharsha and Arsh Grover were quick to cut a heads-up deal wherein Sriharsha had the higher stack and took home a whopping INR 33.92 Lakh along with another seat on to the IOPC Masters Table. Ladies and gentleman, presenting Sriharsha Doddapaneni – the man, the legend. IOPC HR followed by the IOPC SHR. Unreal, unparalleled, unprecedented!
