Spartan Super Series Gold Edition kicks off tomorrow

If you are a regular grinder on Spartan Poker, you’re probably well aware of the Spartan Super Series (SSS), a high-value series of online poker tournaments held around once a month on the platform. This month of May however, Spartan has introduced a new SSS series called the SSS Gold Edition.

‘Opportunity has a new colour’ this month on Spartan as the SSS Gold Edition is scheduled between 8-12 May with a whopping INR 3+ Crore guarantee. Moreover, unlike what we see every edition, this edition has buy-ins beginning from as low as INR 55, while the SSS Leaderboard will have another INR 5 Lakh attached to it.

The SSS Leaderboard winner will walk away INR 2.5 Lakh richer. 38 exciting tournaments have been lined up during this series which seems to have it all, something in it for the highrollers as well as something for those with smaller bankrolls. Here’s a look at the key tournaments of the SSS Gold Edition:

• PLO Highroller – INR 15 Lakh GTD
• Destiny – INR 25 Lakh GTD
• Super Highroller – INR 45 Lakh GTD
• The Elite – INR 50 Lakh GTD
• Mini Main Event – INR 10 Lakh GTD
• Main Event – INR 70 Lakh GTD

In the past, Spartan has usually held two separate series, once being SSS for those with deeper pockets and the other being LBS (Little Big Series), for those who can’t afford higher buy-ins. However, the SSS Gold Edition seems to have clubbed these two series into one and starting tomorrow, we could witness a lot of exciting poker action at the tables.
