Snehil Aggarwal, Rishabh Gupta Have A Stellar Poker Weekend


Gutshot Magazine brings you information about the biggest winners of weekend tournament poker games from some of the biggest poker platforms in the country. We have covered the largest prize pools, the biggest winners, and the exploits of some of the most popular names on the poker circuit. Sunday night was stacked with iconic flagship and other events with some of the biggest prize pools. 

A23 Poker

The Sundowner

  • GTD: ₹5 Lakh
  • Buy-in: ₹2,100
  • Total Entries: 254

Debneil ‘1NoobNeil’ Mukherjee shipped the event, taking home ₹97,772, and Mohsin ‘gongo’ Shaikh, second in the ITM list, took home ₹72,326. Another player, ‘Icon240950’, ranked third and took home ₹53,499, while Prince ‘Prince7664’ Kumar ranked fourth and took home ₹39,573. Other famous players who featured on the list were Arjanveer ‘arjan30’ Singh Chadha, who took home ₹29,272, and Harsh ‘harsh1327’ Bubna, who took home ₹11,847, at rank 8th. Anish ‘PapaNegreanu‘ Arora was 29th down the line, taking home ₹4,789. 

Sunday Big Slick

  • GTD: ₹10 Lakh
  • Buy-in: ₹2,500
  • Total Entries: 230

Shagun ‘sogani94’ Jain shipped the event, taking ₹1,81,274. Ranking 2nd was ‘amigo533732’, who took ₹1,32,879. Then there was Shivam ‘SSoulShaker’ Dubey, who took home ₹97,400 at the 3rd rank. Aditya ‘A_Sushant’ Sushant took home ₹71,394, ranking 4th. Kritarth ‘TightAgressive28’ Pant was in the 5th rank, taking home ₹52,331. 

There were several other popular names, including Anurag ‘NormanBates’ Srivastava at the 7th rank, taking home ₹28,117, and Shardul ‘Vamos96’ Parthasarathi at the 9th rank, adding ₹15,107. Saurabh ‘saurabh21’ Rohila was at the 12th rank, taking home ₹11,734. Rishabh ‘Rish1994’ Malik was ranked 14th, adding ₹9,505. Arjan ‘Arjan30’ Singh Chadha took home ₹7,700. Harsh ‘harsh1327’ Bubna added rank 28th, adding ₹6,237. Ashwin ‘Ashwinvijay399’ Vijay Vergia and Sahil ‘ImHighIshove’ Mahboobani ranked 53rd, and both took home ₹5.053.

Mystery Bounty

  • GTD: $25 Lakh Mystery Bounty
  • Buy-in: ₹5,750
  • Total Entries: 489

Anmol ‘ace10’ Narang shipped the event, taking home $2,25,035. Next in the ranks was Shreyansh ‘halifax7701’ Sharma, who took home ₹1,64,950. Following him was Anay ‘roundersAA’ Kumar Singh, who added 41,20,908 to his wallet. Following him was Yash ‘gambler11’ Jaiswal, taking home ₹4,88,625 at rank four. Down the rankings, there was ‘dsoulkeeper’, ranking 5th, taking home ₹64,962. Other notable players ITM were Siddarth ‘badtameez_donk” Singhvi adding ₹47,617 to his wallet.

Poker Dangal 

₹150K GTD Sunday Grind

  • GTD: ₹1,50 Lakh

‘Einstein’ took the largest amount of the prize pool, a commendable ₹38,625. Just following him was ‘runBADfeelGOOD’ at 2nd rank, adding ₹27,045. Then there was ‘Lunchbox’, who took home ₹17,400. Next in line was ‘Grandbluff’, who had a haul of ₹12,885.  Following ‘Grandbluff ‘was ‘Foghorn’, who took home ₹9,660.

PPL Weekly Finale 4

  • GTD: ₹25 Lakh

Mohsin ‘gongo’ Shaikh took home the 1st prize of ₹2,29,875. Sahil ‘inaboobham’ Mahboobani took the 2nd prize, and cash of ₹1,69,000. In 4th place was Raghav ‘misterbean’ Ananth, who took home ₹1,21,750. 

PokerBaazi

The Moneymaker #25

  • GTD: ₹1 Crore
  • Buy-in: ₹10K
  • Total Entries: 1.029

Avjit ‘SwangoRay’ Jaiswal shipped the event, adding ₹ 11.36 Lakh to his kitty. Close on his heels was dragonpanda, who took ₹ 11.49 Lakh, and the two were locked in a head-up play. Jaiswal did well for a night of poker, pouring two bullets to stand on top of the prize pool. 

Standing 3rd on the winner’s list is Anmol ‘Annzzz’ Mehta,  who used two bullets himself.  Other notable names in the frenzy were Harsh ‘harsh1327’ Bubna, who ranked 14th and took ₹85,000, followed by Ankit ‘‘D00mtr00p3r’ ‘Wadhawan, who stood 19th and took the same amount. Others down the line were Avneesh ‘iamiam’ Munjal, who ranked 81 and took ₹28K. Kunal ‘VasooliChacha’ Patni has been seeing quite some additions to his inventory, taking ₹28K at rank 72. Patni was in the money on Saturday night as well.

BSS Superstack

  • GTD: ₹50 Lakh
  • Buy-in: ₹5,750
  • Total Entries: 485

The BSS Superstack event also saw some epic poker action. With a ₹50 Lakh prize pool, it saw 485 entries. The number of entries that saw money was 152.

Goonjan ‘Gmtesting’ Mall shipped the event, taking ₹7.5 Lakh home. Other names on the list were Anmool Mehta, who took home ₹5 Lakh, ranking nd. Vishal ‘VishalMaharaj’ Maharaj ranked 3rd, taking home ₹3.5 Lakh. The 4th and 5th ranks were snagged by Vinay ‘vinay09’ Rajpal, who took ₹2.85 Lakh. Gaurav ‘gauravgoru’ Bhutra was at the 5th rank, adding ₹2.23 L. Ashit Sharma was at the 10th rank, taking home ₹67K. 

The event saw many more popular Indian players in the ITM list, like Chirag’Miyagi’ Sodha, who stood 17th and took ₹42.5K, and Myron ‘PriyankAAChoprAA’ Pereira, who ranked 18th and took ₹42.5K. Ankit ‘D00mtr00p3r’ Wadhawan also joined the party at rank 148, taking home about ₹9K, and Rubin ‘Kornkid’ Labroo took home the same amount at the 150th rank. There was also Shardul ‘Duuurrrr’Parthasarathi at the 78th rank, who took home ₹14K. 

BSS Supervalue

  • GTD: ₹25 Lakh
  • Buy-in: ₹2.5K
  • Total Entries: 593

Another event, the BSS Supervalue, had a GTD of 25L. The players crushed the GTD, and the prize pool increased to ₹ 26.24 Lakh. There were 593 entries, with a buy-in of ₹2.5K. 

Rafiq ‘Mrkhan’ Khan took the highest prize, adding ₹ 2.96 L to his wallet, followed by Ranjeet ‘RJ147’ Negi, who took ₹3.34 Lakh. Then, 3rd in the ITM list was Nikesh ‘Durr102’ Chawla, who took 1.79 Lakh. The 4th was Churchill ‘Chillmaibam’ Maibam, who added ₹2.96 Lakh to his bank balance. Ankit ‘brahm’ Jain ranked 5th to bring home ₹1.12 Lakh.

Others on the ITM list were Ankit Jain at 5th rank, taking home ₹12 Lakh, Harsh Bubna, who added ₹14.4K, Anmol Mehta at 59th rank who took home ₹7.8K, Rajneesh Thakur who took home ₹7.87K at 65th rank, along with Ashwin Vijay Vergia, who took home ₹7.87K at 78th rank. Ankit Wadhawan saw some multiple cashes through the weekend, ranking 88th and taking ₹7.87K in this one. Lower down the lane was Nikita ‘Highpriestess’ Fernandes, who added ₹5.25K at 148th rank.

Natural8 India

Leading the Indian charge in style on Natural8 India was Snehil  ‘Gaurav_Sood’ Aggarwal, who was among the top 10 winners, ranking 6th in the Zodiac Asia Championship with a stellar payday of ₹32,58,817, including a massive ₹ 10.82 Lakh in bounties! What a performance! Hot on his heels was the enigmatic ‘YouKnowMe!!!’, who made waves at the Weekender 50, storming through a field of 5,876 players to finish 4th, and pocketing a handsome ₹12,26,344! Talk about making a statement! The green run had only just begun—‘Shouryaanga’ brought more glory home with a brilliant 6th place finish out of 1,021 players, bagging ₹11,11,327 in the process. 

Rishab ‘ChotaRG’ Gupta had himself a dream weekend, featuring on two ITM lists! He waved past the majority of the players at the Bounty Hunters Sunday Main Event 525 for ₹2,67,629 (57th place) and followed it up with ₹1,91,327 at the Zodiac Asia Championship (143rd place). Two big runs, one big weekend!

Meanwhile, ‘Wonderwoman6’ lived up to her superhero moniker at the Sunday Hyper 200, finishing an impressive 3rd and banking ₹2,11,150! A fearless display at the virtual tables! 

Further adding to India’s stellar Sunday:

  • Amit Kaushik raced to ₹1,29,343, finishing 5th out of 1,967 at the Sunday Hypersonic 20 – lightning fast and sharp!
  • Aleixinho ‘Alexee888’ Esteibeiro showcased her class in the Sunday Showdown 10, outlasting a jaw-dropping 20,244-player field to finish 4th and collect a cool ₹3,68,225!
  • And in the GGMasters HR 1050,  Bhupinder ‘Lajaf’ Singh battled it out to seize ₹2,20,659 – a worthy prize from a hard-fought grind.

What a weekend for Indian poker stars—crushing fields, climbing leaderboards, and cashing big! Let’s keep the momentum rolling!

Naveen ‘Happy Hunter’ Kumar S delivered a stellar performance in the $33 Super Sunday Crown Special $17.5K GTD on WPT Global, clinching the title from a total of 713 entries and bagging a cool $4,019.33. It was a thrilling finish that perfectly captured the high-octane energy of WPT Global’s Sunday showdown.
