Shawn Chatterton wins last night’s Head-Hunter on Spartan

Spartan Poker comes up with daily tournaments and yesterday saw another Head-Hunter bounty event scheduled, like it is for each Thursday. Spartan is evolving and coining new events for all poker fanatics to enter this journey and win big. Yesterday’s feature tournament was Head-Hunter INR 10 Lakhs GTD once again attracting the best-known poker players.

With a buy-in of INR 5,500, about 294 participants (including 51 re-entries, 99 rebuys) entered the event. A prize pool of INR 11,76,000 was drawn to be distributed among the top 27 places. The late-night tournament came to a standstill at 2:40am and it was Shawn Chatterton under the name ‘N00b N00b’ who took the first-place prize money.

Walking out with a grand cash prize, Chatterton beat Suresh Kolli aka ‘oil_trader’ in the heads-up battle. Chatterton entered the last hand with the largest stack. At level #44 the 20,000/40,000 blinds were posted by each player. The board 2h Qh 6h 7h Qc raced to declare the champion of the night, Chatterton, who was holding Qd 4h, showing flush with Q high. Chatterton holds multiple titles on Spartan’s online tournaments while Kolli is a frequent player too.

Other players receiving a paycheck include Deepak Bothra aka ‘chimpoo’ (5^th), Sahil Agarwal aka ‘Variance’ (8^th), Shravan Chhabria aka ‘D.Trump04’ (10^th), Lakshpal Singh aka ‘LuckyBhai$’ (12^th), Madhav Gupta aka ‘Madzoopa’ (13^th), Goonjan Mall aka ‘gmtesting’ (14^th), Ashish Munot aka ‘Donkey 07’ (15^th), Faiz Alam aka ‘DrStrange’ (21^st), Rubin Labroo aka ‘kornkid’ (23^rd), Neel Joshi aka ‘Worm33’ (24^th) and so on.
