Shannon Shorr Wins PGT Last Chance Event #6

Shannon Shorr joined Brandon Wilson as a two-time winner of the PGT Last Chance series. In the final event, Event #6, Shorr topped the 116-entry field to win $290,000. The total number of entries for this event was 116, and the total prize pool was  $1,160,000.

Shorr had previously won Event #2 for $297,500. He also cashed in Event #5 for $24,200. All told, Shorr cashed for $611,700 from the PGT Last Chance series and earned enough points to win a Dream Seat that secured him a seat in the PGT $1 Million Championship.

The final table and winners list included some of the industry’s biggest names, which proves that Shannon Shorr has the potential for a long career in the industry.

PGT Last Chance Event #6 Top 10 Winners

Earlier, Brandon Wilson had won back-to-back events when he topped the 119-entry field in Event #3: $10,500 No Limit Hold’em to win $297,500 and followed that victory up with another one when he bested the 114-entry field in Event #4: $10,500 No Limit Hold’em for $285,000.

Shorr has had a great stint in poker and is currently 96th on the All-Time Money List. His total live cash to date is roughly $14 Million, and his best live cash is $960,690. He achieved that feat in 2006 when he shipped the $10,000 + 300 Bellagio Cup II – No Limit Hold’em event. It remains to be seen what other achievements the young poker player has in his sights.
