Seth Davies Wins Super High Roller Bowl PLO for $1,500,000

Two months after winning Super High Roller Bowl IX, Seth Davies captured the title and $1,500,000 in the Super High Roller Bowl PLO. Davies topped a field of 42 entries in the $100,000 buy-in event, which took place at the PokerGO Studio in Las Vegas. With the number and kind of players at the felts, it is true proof of Seth Davies’s skill now that he has shipped the event.

During Saturday’s final day of play, Davies was down to just two big blinds before he staged an epic comeback. He eventually found himself heads up with Artem Maksimov and holding a 2-to-1 chip lead to start the match. After Maksimov began by closing the gap, Davies profited from a flopped set and pushed his lead back out to better than 3-to-1. Eventually, Davies finished off Maksimov to win the $1,500,000 first-place prize.
