Schedule Announced for APPT 2018 Macau Millions

The APPT (Asia-Pacific Poker Tour) was brought back by PokerStars at the end of last year and a lot of events are being added to their schedule. The 2018 APPT Macau has just concluded, with a lot of Indian players doing well at the tables, and the 2018 APPT Korea is scheduled for 6-15 April. Recently, they announced the APPT 2018 Macau Millions tournament series, where two Platinum Passes are on offer.

On 22nd March, APPT released the schedule for the 2018 Macau Millions, which will be held at the PokerStars LIVE Macau poker room. The series will take place between 17th to 23rd April 2018, immediately following APPT’s stop in Korea. The 7-day series will include 15 APOY (Asia Player of the Year) events and the highlight will be the HKD 3,000 buy-in Main Event.

The 2016 Macau Millions Main Event set a record for the largest poker tournament held in Macau, with a total field of 2,343 entries. With a guaranteed prizepool of HKD 3 million, this year’s Macau Millions ME has the potential to exceed the numbers seen in 2016. Platinum Passes to the PokerStars Players Championship (PSPC), each worth $30,000, will be awarded to the Main Event and Warm-up opener winners.

Mark Blake, Department Head of Live of Events, Asia Pacific, had this to say, “We’re thrilled to see the return of the Macau Millions this year. The biennial event jumped from 1,804 to 2,343 entrants last time and we believe that the best of the Macau Millions has yet to come.”

Event buy-ins will range between HKD 400 to HKD 30,000. The HKD 30,000 High Roller event will allow for unlimited re-entries and will also be using The Big Blind Ante and Shot Clock formats. After the success of the recent 2018 APPT Macau, poker players and enthusiasts will be very excited for this series. Can’t wait!

• April 17-18: HKD 2,000 Warm-up (HKD 500,000 GTD)
• April 19-23: HKD 3,000 Main Event (HKD 3,000,000 GTD)
• April 22-23: HKD 5,000 Megastack (HKD 500,000 GTD)
• April 22-23: HKD 30,000 High Roller (Shot Clock & Big Blind Ante)
