Sahil Mahboobani ships Godfather 6.0 title

Adda52 saw yet another one of their high-stakes feature tournaments INR 20 Lakhs GTD Godfather 6.0 come to a successful end yesterday. Along with having such a staggering guarantee, it also gives players a chance to earn a whopping INR 7 Lakhs package trip to play in the upcoming 2019 Aussie Millions, which will begin on 15^th January. The nine consecutive Godfather 6.0 winners will play a Godfather 6.0 Finale SnG on 30^th December and the winner from that will be the lucky one to go to Australia.

Yesterday’s tournament attracted a total of 448 entries (186 re-entries). For a buy-in of INR 5,500, the guarantee was surpassed, creating a fresh prize pool of INR 22,40,000. The tournament began at 8 pm in the evening and after a long haul of over 8 hours, it ended at 4:15 am today morning.

The winner to emerge from this gruesome grind was the well-known Sahil Mahboobani aka ‘ImHighIshove’, taking home an enormous amount of INR 5,48,800 as 1^st place cash prize. He defeated ‘Ris0915’ in the heads-up battle, who had to settle for the runner-up prize of INR 3,24,800.

Just recently, Mahboobani earned his career best live cash for finishing 2^nd in the World Poker Tour (WPT) India Main Event, winning INR 46,53,000 as runner-up cash prize. Mahboobani has also cashed out in a lot of online tournaments in the past, on Adda52 as well as other platforms. Gutshot congratulated Mahboobani on his win and he was elated to win this tournament finally, heading to his first major SnG of any kind, and will have his eyes fixed on the 2019 Aussie Millions package. He surely knows his poker and will be hopeful to continue this trend in the SnG Finale.

Other knowns to rank in the top 49 places paid out were Deepak Singh aka ‘Peacelover’ (3^rd – 2,24,000), Arjun Agarwal aka ‘arjunagrawal05’ (6^th – INR 78,400), Sriharsha Doddapaneni aka ‘Ivey2’ (10^th – 28K), Rajat Sharma aka ‘Oshoswami’ (17^th – INR 19.04K), Abhinav Iyer aka ‘checkshove’ (21^st – INR 16.8K), Sahil Agarwal aka ‘Bhaijiii’ (26^th – 14.56K), Aditya Sushant aka ‘A_Sushant’ (28^th – 14.56K), Himanshu Arora aka ‘pirateking7’ (30^th – 14.56K), recent Adda52 Blaze winner Varun Gupta aka ‘VnutsG’ (33^rd – INR 14.56K) and Harshit Chopra aka ‘hashstack’ (37^th – 12.32K).

The Godfather 6.0 SnG will also see a female player in the mix. Smita Agarwalla aka ‘coconik’ won 13^th December’s Godfather for over INR 5 Lakhs and she is also very excited to play for the Australia package.
