Wynn Macau Ltd announced on Thursday that world-renowned snooker player Ronnie O’Sullivan has been named the new “Wynn Brand Ambassador” ahead of his upcoming visit to Macau from December 25 to 28 for the “Wynn Presents – 2024 Macau Snooker Masters.”
Seven-time World Snooker Champion Ronnie O’Sullivan announced his participation in the tournament and signed a partnership agreement with Wynn during a press conference. Linda Chen, Wynn Macau’s President, Vice Chairman, and Executive Director, stated, “We are delighted to welcome Mr. Ronnie O’Sullivan as the Wynn Brand Ambassador officially. Together, we aim to promote and expand the popularity of snooker, enhance Macau’s appeal to international visitors, and further elevate its global profile.”
O’Sullivan expressed his honour in partnering with Wynn Macau to promote and grow the popularity of snooker globally. He has become a familiar face in Wynn-organized snooker events, participating in the 2023 Macau Snooker Masters and the Snooker Legend and Rising Star Exhibition Game this past May. In December, he will debut as the Wynn Brand Ambassador, competing against eight of the world’s top players in an exhibition match. While Ronnie is currently busy with his snooker commitments, it wouldn’t be a long shot for him to delve into the poker world. After all, several celebrities and sportsmen already have expressed their love for the felts.
