Raju Jaruplavath Ships Event #1: Philippines National Cup At APT Manila Classic 2025

The Asian Poker Tour (APT) Manila Classic 2025, which is sponsored by Natural8,  is ongoing, and the initial list of winners is now coming up. And an Indian, Raju Jaruplavath, has shipped the Philippines National Cup. With this, he has got the coveted Golden Lion silhouette trophy, taking home PHP 7,97,765 (~₹12 Lakh)

The event had 398 players and a prize pool of PHP 40,34,765. Entries came from all over the world, including the US, Taiwan, the Philippines, India, and others. Jaruplavath was among the top 10 stack holders on the second day and was among the top 10 throughout the event. In the end, he had a heads-up with Zhi Xiang Png. Zhi took home PHP 5,03,000, ranking second.  At the Heads Up, Jaruplavath had A ♠,J ♣, while Zhi had A ❤ ,3 ♦ , while the tables returned 7 ♣,2 ❤ ,7 ♦ , 6 ♠,10 ❤
