Raghav Bansal Ships Highroller At DPT Xpress 2025

Raghav Bansal has captured headlines in the poker industry by shipping the Highroller event at the ongoing DPT Xpress tournament at the Deltin Royale in Goa. He took home ₹12,80,982 (~12 Lakh). The Highroller event lasted two days, with the buy-in being ₹50,000. This is a big win for Raghav Bansal, the Indian poker player who has been going from strength to strength in his poker journey. This win will be special for Bansal, who was the ME winner at the inaugural Deltin Poker Tour in 2016 when he took ₹30,60,000 from a prize pool of ₹1 Crore.

Bansal is a successful Indian poker player with an all-time haul of $1,192,714. His best cash was $3,35,910 at the High Roller Event of the PokerStars Championship in Macau 2017. So, while this does not break records for him, it is still a formidable amount to take home from an Indian poker tournament. The announcement soon made its way online.

Bansal has been playing poker for more than a decade. His first confirmed cash at a live game was in 2015 at the World Series of Poker’s No Limit Hold’em Event, where he took home $3980. With his win at DPT XPress, Bansal added his name to the poker record books, and his name has been entered in the Deltin Poker Tournament’s books. The Deltin Poker Tournament is one of the biggest poker tournaments in the world, bringing some of the biggest poker names to the felts. DPT Xpress was the tournament’s first outing in 2025. It comprises 10 events, including the Highroller event and a 7.5 Lakh Freeroll event. The Deltin Poker Tournament has several other poker tournaments throughout the year, including the Deltin Poker Tour Colossus and others. Deltin Poker Tour began in 2016 when Delta Tech and Adda52 joined hands to create India’s premier poker tournament and destination.

Homegrown events like DPT Xpress 2025 are great opportunities for young and experienced poker players to venture out into the felts, gain experience and some enormous amounts. For the younger players, these tournaments are great confidence builders as well.
