After PUBG was banned in India, the esports community were trying to beat the void left behind by the ban. Many players and organizations were also seen quitting the community after the ban. However, with Krafton announcing the Indian title of PUBG named Battleground Mobile India, the community is witnessing a comeback of these players and organizations. The community is gearing for the launch of the game and new rosters are being formed.
One such comeback was seen with pro PUBG player Viren Mahipalsingh aka Viru joining Redowl Gaming‘s Battlegrounds Mobile India Roster. The official announcement was made by Redowl gaming on their Instagram page.

During his PUBG career Mahipal has been a member of some of the best esports organizations in the country. The esports gamer has been associated with Entity, 7seas, GXR Celtz and Orange Rock in the past and has won notable titles for the teams he played.
Viru was a part of Team Orange Rock, which secured the second position at the PUBG Mobile World League 2020 Season 0 East tournament. It was the last tournament played by Indian teams before the game was banned in the country.
Viru grabbed the first position with Team Entity, now TSM, at PUBG Mobile Club Open – Fall Split: South Asia tournament. In his successful tournament career, Viru has also played and succeeded in numerous unofficial tournaments with his exceptional skills.
About joining Redowl, the star player says, “With my decision to join Redowl Gaming, I see a bright future here because the organisation has strong roots in a variety of industries. I hope we can make the best of it and make ourselves and the organisation proud in competitive gaming. I’d try to build a roster of dedicated players whose sole goal is to win the trophy and we’ll figure out a play style once we’ve finalised the entire roster.”
Redowl Gaming has a network of more than 5000 gaming influencers under its name. The organization aims at structuralizing the loose fragments of the gaming industry and giving the gaming influencers their fair share of the respect and name they rightly deserve. The esports organization is headed by Dheeraj Jorwal, co-founder Redowl Gaming, Brandzup Media, Hivcoi and Desi Records.
