Priyadarshi Rajnish Wins MoneyMaker 3.0 for INR 30 Lakh

The game of poker is certainly on the rise in India and the fact that online poker websites are offering tournaments with such huge guarantees is evidence to that. One such tournament is PokerBaazi‘s MoneyMaker, which provides an INR 1 crore guarantee, including an INR 30 lakh GTD to 1st place and INR 20 lakh GTD to 2nd place.

After two successful editions of the MoneyMaker, PokerBaazi decided to host MoneyMaker 3.0 on Republic Day, 26th January 2018, so that a maximum number of players could take part. The tournament saw a total of 734 unique entries and 430 re-entries, taking the prize pool to a massive INR 1,16,40,000. The buy-in to the tournament was INR 11,000 and a total of 82 players were paid out.

After hours of grinding, the tournament ended at 3:08 am on 27th Jan and it was Priyadarshi ‘PaperBoat’ Rajnish who bagged the top prize of INR 30 lakh and the coveted MoneyMaker bracelet. He beat Manish ‘youngistan’ Jain in heads up, who secured the runners up prize of INR 20 lakh.
