PokerStars Back To Cambodia For APPT 2024


Mark your calendars and get ready for some incredible poker action on and off the felt at Asia Pacific Poker Tour Cambodia, an incredible experience brought to you by PokerStars.  

Hosted at the prestigious NagaWorld Integrated Resort, in Phnom Penh, APPT Cambodia is back after a successful 2023 event for another year of action from 15th-25th November 2024.

PokerStars look forward to returning to Phnom Penh, a cultural hotspot, and a city of vibrance, with 11 days of poker and a guaranteed prize pool of $1,080,000. With a busy schedule and buy-ins for all abilities, there’s something for everyone that players won’t want to miss:

  • APPT National: 16th-19th November – $900 ($150,000 GTD)

Online satellites start from 2nd June on PokerStars, with daily feeders from as little as $2.20. Players can also secure a silver pass worth $2,5000 through PokerStars Power Path.

2023 Main Event Winner                       

Out of a 476 Main Event player field, it was Chao-Ting Cheng and Junnie Pamplona who shared the biggest share of the $623,322 prize pool after cutting a heads-up deal.

Ultimately, it was Cheng who overcame a small chip deficit to scoop the golden shard trophy and $94,448, while runner-up Pamplona, who won his seat in a PokerStars LIVE Manila live qualifier for 6,600 Philippine Pesos ($120), claimed his prize of $101,647, narrowly missing his career-best live winnings score, previously set in the WPT Prime Cambodia $1,100 Main Event back in 2022.
